“We do the little things other companies don’t want to do.”   All of your home maintenance needs can be completely handled by our company. The process starts with a simple phone call to 847-998-1687. Once D/R Services Unlimited, Inc. receives your call, you will be forwarded to the home maintenance division and speak with the division manager Lance Winter. Lance will take down information on the location of your home, contact numbers, and the scope of work that needs to be completed.

We can offer advice, options, and directions for your home project. There are several types of proposals that we offer:

  • Time and Materials
    On all jobs that will cost less than $1,000.00, we will do the work on a time-and-material basis. There is a minimum charge of $170.00 and that covers the first two hours of work after that the job is billed at $85.00 per man-hour. These are the terms of a T&M proposal: All work will be completed for $85.00 per man-hour, plus the cost of materials.
  • Written Proposal
    The State of Illinois requires that all jobs costing $1,000.00 or more be covered by a written contract. All contracts are mailed, faxed, or e-mailed to the client. All contracts are good for 60 days; after 60 days, we reserve the right to adjust pricing as needed. If a visit to the job site is needed to evaluate and provide a budget for the project there will be a fee of $85.00 for the visit. The $85.00 is non-refundable and will be applied to the down payment when work is accepted.

Most villages do not require a General Contractor to be licensed. D/R Services is a licensed General Contractor in Highland Park and Evanston where it is required and a Licensed Electrical Contractor.
