GREEN REMODELING
D/R Services Unlimited proudly offers the option of integrated Green Remodeling and Building techniques into our projects. We are aware of the growing concerns of the effect we have as builders on the environment. We have the opportunity and knowldege to improve the quality of life, both inside and outside of the homes we work on. We can achieve this by using renewable and recycled resources and materials with little or no off-gassing of VOCs (Volatile Organing Compounds). We can recommend environmentally friendly demolition, recycling, and construction methods along eith alternative electrical, heating, and cooling systems. Mostly we are driven by a true consideration for our world environmenrt and the well-being of our clients and employees. We are Certified Green Remodelers, Certified Photovoltaic Installers, and distributors of both photovoltaic and solar thermal panels, as well as Honeywell wind turbine power systems.
COST PLUS PHILOSOPHY
Our role is to offer options to our clients - to educate them about the quality levels and associated prices that are available.
We use the Cost Plus method of pricing - a growing trend in the industry - charging our costs plus a markup. Materials sub contractors, and our labor billing rates are marked up a percentage to cover overhead and profit.
- Overhead costs are day-to-day business expenses which are not directly attributable to particular jobs. Overhead includes insurance, office expenses, rent, utilities, vehicles and other cost-of-business items.
- Profit is determined before taxes and company reinvestment expense.
All invoices and timecards are available for inspection - all our cards are on the table. This allows us to share the decisions on materials and subcontractors with our clients - for us to work together as a team.
